With the daily hacking successes, breaches in security, and unethical behavior by corporations, it has never been more important to read through the “Terms of Service” and “Privacy Policy” before entrusting personal information and potentially sensitive data to companies. Zynga has made the process a little easier on the eyes (and on the scrolling finger) with PrivacyVille, which presents the Privacy Policy as a tutorial with a short challenge and an end reward of 200 zPoints, Zynga’s virtual currency.

Jokes aside, whenever you check that little “agree” box, you are entering into a social contract. While the legal and legislative spheres catch up to the online realities, it is important to stay on top of what your favorite tech companies are promising to do and not do within the business-to-user relationship. Zynga’s take on the whole process actually takes a huge step in making the small print much easier to read.
