Gamification platform Badgeville today announced a second round of funding for $12 million. Founded in September of last year, Badgeville has accelerated quickly by bringing in 75 clients from a range of industries. Deloitte, NBC Universal, and Discovery have already produced some great case studies in gamification. The Series B includes investments from Norwest Ventures and El Dorado Ventures adding to the previous Series A from Trinity Ventures and Webb Investment Networks.

Investors are taking renewed interest in gamification. A month ago, today, long standing gamification platform, Bunchball announced $6.5M in a new round of funding. Case studies have begun to show the real results of gamification campaigns beyond predictions on the market potential. With more interest and more data, look forward to innovations in gamification campaigns that not only support business goals, but help users achieve their own personal aspirations outside of work.

We are proud to have both Badgeville and Bunchball as sponsors for our upcoming Gamification Summit in New York.
