  • Bunchball, the pioneer and market leader in gamification, today unveiled a new version of Nitro™ for Salesforce, an optimized version of Bunchball’s acclaimed Nitro platform that uses game mechanics to help motivate sales teams to engage in deeper and more meaningful use of the Salesforce platform.

Selected as one of 14 offerings to be featured in Salesforce.com’s redesigned AppExchange Social Enterprise Showcase, Nitro for Salesforce shapes the behavior of users by applying the dynamics of competition and achievement through the use of goal-setting, real-time feedback, competition, status and recognition.

  • The new release of Nitro for Salesforce makes gamification easier and more powerful by introducing a simpler start-up process and significantly more customizable leaderboards.

New “getting started” wizard. An engaging, easy-to-use setup wizard makes it easy to set up challenges that help drive Salesforce engagement and adoption. The new wizard lets Nitro users quickly gamify the Salesforce experience based on organization type, such as telesales, inside sales, outside sales, or service. Nitro for Salesforce walks users through the process of setting challenges, badges, levels and more — and gets them up and running in minutes.

New custom leaderboards. Nitro for Salesforce users can keep sales teams motivated by publishing highly customized leaderboards that display a far wider array of ranked listings than ever before. In addition to showing how each user stacks up against his or colleagues by way of points, completed challenges, and levels, the new leaderboards can also rank participants based on metrics specific to Salesforce. Now, leaderboards created in Nitro can rank users by tasks completed this quarter, past due opportunities tackled this quarter, and more. Nitro for Salesforce also gives organizations the ability to display a full-screen version of custom leaderboards on a dedicated monitor or TV, so everyone in a location can see who is leading and who is moving up or down the board.

  • The latest version of Nitro for Salesforce will be available later this year via Salesforce.com’s AppExchange Social Enterprise Showcase. All Nitro for Salesforce customers will automatically receive the new update as part of their subscription.
