On Wednesday, global advertising network, Saatchi and Saatchi and Ipsos, a private research think tank, released a report that found most americans want gamification at work. This may come as a surprise to businesses that block social networking sites and restrict using the Internet for idle pastimes, but those familiar with gamification already understand that social games can be used to not only to engage employees, but also to increase productivity and a sense of community. Out of the group of respondents, 55% said they were interested in working for a company that uses gamification to increase productivity. More details below.
