The gamification community in NYC came together last night for our first GSummitX event fully focused on loyalty marketing. To start things off, Gilt Groupe’s Jeff Bobula (Program Manager) delivered an educating talk on Gilt’s new loyalty program, Gilt Insider. Then, we all engaged in our Play for a Cause to help solve NYC’s composting issue.
Last night marked GamificationCo’s most recent gsummitX event as a part of Social Media Week 2013. After a full night of craft beer, free pizza, gamification demos, learning, ideation, and 80 engaged people, our latest gsummitX event was our best yet.

We had a great gsummitX in Tel Aviv on Christmas Day, with a standing room-only crowd and great speakers. We’ll soon share some of the videos from the event, but in the meantime you might enjoy reading my notes. I took these from listening to the varied speakers and then did an impromptu presentation where I responded to their assertions and highlighted their most interesting comments. My handwriting isn’t the best, but the topics are fascinating.
