GSUMMITx Meetup Lands in Boston Tonight (Feb 23rd, 2012)

Our global, local, free meetup is in Boston tonight (Feb 23, 2012)–GSUMMITx Boston. After a hugely successful GSUMMITx NYC, we created the Boston meetup group. It grew to over 50 people within 2 days, and now to over 120 people. Although, this was no surprise in the piping hot space of Gamification. The event is being held at Microsoft’s NERD (New England R&D) Center at 6:30pm tonight. Register to attend here. Our Featured Speaker (with Q&A) is our very own Gabe Zichermann. Matthew Mamet from Pearson Education will follow with a demo of Alleyoop (a college readiness company) and how they’re using game mechanics in their business strategy. Then, we bring in the activity that sets us aside from all other meetups. It’s out Play for a Cause, gamified ideation session. We’ve invite Boston’s Museum of Science to join our meetup to invite the attendees to work together to come up with gamified solutions to solve a specific problem they’re facing. It’s a great hands-on activity for the attendees and a great way for our community to give back. Game on in Boston!
