Enterprise gamification (aka using game thinking and mechanics to engage employees and partners) is getting more interesting every day. Following on the heels of Bunchball’s moves to connect gamification platforms to major enterprise software, Badgeville today announced a unified enterprise connector initiative. Cloud Connectors makes official their longstanding connection with Omniture, and adds Jive and Salesforce to the mix. As this category heats up, expect to see less custom enterprise gamification, and more use of platforms to provide scale. Major questions still remain of course, including who owns the customer – but the continued rise of enterprise app stores, along with gamification promises to make this year quite a rollercoaster.
