Keith Ng is Leading the Asian Gamification Movement

Most of the buzz surrounding gamification seems to be located within the United States but it would foolish to not recognize its international presence as well. We’re aware of Spain BBVA’s gamified banking platform, a hugely successful alumni crowdfunding platform in Stockhom, and there’s even an upcoming gamification platform straight out of Estonia! But where’s the gamification presence in Asia? It’s growing tremendously and Keith Ng’s work with Gametize is proving gamification’s worth in Asia.

Having started as an entrepreneur with no experience in 2009, Keith Ng has taken all his lessons learned and became a true gamification evangelist in Asia, producing his new gamification-startup, Gametize. Keith’s bright vision even led him to a television appearance on AngelGate, where he successfully pitched his GameMaki white-label gamification platform concept and won over the angel investors for some funding.

Now in full production, Keith’s work is focused in both San Francisco and Singapore but caters to a global audience and perhaps most importantly, the Asian audience. This year at GSummit SF 2013, Keith Ng will be speaking about his view of the gamification market in Asian, some of its most prominent examples, and the top lessons to learn for gamification in Asia. Gamification is growing as a global phenomenon and the Asian market will prove to be an enormous audience to capture.

Catch Keith Ng’s session at GSummit and be a part of this global movement.

  1. Didn’t get much insight out of this piece. Asia is big. Ng was a first-mover. Typo in the last full paragraph also testifies to this being rushed.
