Gabe Zichermann is the chair of GSummit, the Founder/Editor of Gamification.Co and Partner/Founder at Dopamine. He is also an author, highly rated public speaker and entrepreneur whose new book, The Gamification Revolution (McGraw Hill, 2013 – looks at how leaders are leveraging gamification strategy to crush the competition. His previous books, Gamification by Design (2011) and Game-Based Marketing (2010) have helped define the industry’s standards and frameworks, and continue to be key reference materials today. Gabe is co-founder of strategic consultancy and product lab Dopamine ( where he works with leading brands and startups to bring engagement to every corner of their enterprise. Gabe resides in New York City, where he is co-director of startup accelerator The Founder Institute, and a board member of



Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy, Head of Marketing

Todd Deery has more than 18 years of marketing and communication experience both in and out of education. At FIEA, he’s responsible for all the marketing, public relations, admissions and student recruitment, helping the school attain a Top 5 ranking nationally.

Ryan leads a lean team which created an Agile Adaptation of the Boeing IT standard process for Application Development and Sustaining projects.

Scientific Vortex Group, Researcher and Manager

Andrea, an Affiliate Scholar of the IEET and Researcher and Manager at the Scientific Vortex Group. She began her career as a Behavior Therapist, treating children on the Autism spectrum, specializing in Aspergers Syndrome, as well as those with exceptional abilities. She also works as a researcher with VORTEX Research Group, investigating the neuro-cognitive factors behind human behavior; this includes topics such as creativity, intelligence, sociopathy, and x-altruism, as well as the science of learning. She has published papers on the neuroscience of creativity, intelligence, and the analysis of illegal behavior and the creative rule-breaking process. As well as being a researcher of creativity, she is herself a fine artist and has been trained in various visual communication medium, ranging from traditional drawing to digital painting, graphic design, and 3D modeling and animation for the medical and behavioral sciences. She recently joined Syntience, an AI startup in the Bay Area, as a Robopsychologist, working on technology to model human intuition and creative cognition in machines, called Artificial Intuition. Andrea is also a popular and widely published science writer and a science communication activist. Her blog, The Rogue Neuron, addresses a variety of current science topics, but is mainly focused on cognitive neuroscience, psychology, autism, and education.




Stella’s role at WOOPAAH is to push the creative edge in new experience design that enhances happiness and well-being. WOOPAAH’s mission is for people to leave feeling more alive and awake to their awesomeness. Ross Smith really enjoys getting a paycheck to “play” with software for 25 years now, over 20 at Microsoft. Most of his career has been in testing and QA roles- including Test Architect. Prior to joining Lync/Skype – he spent 17 years in either Windows or Office. He is one of the authors of “The Practical Guide to Defect Prevention” and holds six patents, latest in Nov, 2012. 42projects has aspired to promote cultural change, “bring buzz and laughter to the hallways”.



Yamaha, Director of Customer Experience Group

Jeff Hawley is Director of the Customer Experience Group for the Yamaha Corporation of America. In his role he directs overarching marketing and customer experience initiatives online, in print and within social media to Yamaha dealers, partners, fans and customers. He has worked in music retail, instrument and accessory design, audio & video production, arranging and performance.

NIR EYAL, Founder

Nir works on, advises, writes, and teaches about products that move people. He’s also the author of Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products.

Brian Burke is an analyst for Gartner, specializing in gamification and enterprise architecture. He is a prominent researcher and speaker in gamification and the author of the book “Gamify: How Gamification Motivates People to Do Extraordinary Things”, published by Bibliomotion and available in April 2014. His ground-breaking work on Business Outcome Driven EA has fundamentally changed the way enterprise architects are approaching their work.



Winn Dixie, Social Media Mgr

Carlos Gil is a marketing executive with extensive digital media expertise: web, social, mobile, and email channels. As Social Media Manager at BI-LO and Winn-Dixie, Carlos is accountable for the development and execution of company social media strategies aimed to increase brand engagement, shopper loyalty, and sales in a digital space where millions of consumers are speaking about the brand and competition.

Delta Air Lines, GM

Ryan is the General Manager of the training team in Reservation Sales at Delta Air Lines. He has been involved in the development of technology based learning content for the past 20 years. At Delta, he leads a team responsible for training over 4,000 call center representatives. With a background in learning and information technology, he focuses on innovative and engaging approaches to the learning experience.
