We were very excited to have Amy Jo Kim  join us this year at GSummit. Amy is the Creative Director at Shufflebrain. Below are her bio, video and slides from GSummit SF 2014:

Amy Jo Kim is a social game designer, part community architect. She’s worked on Rock Band, eBay, Netflix, indiegogo,, The Sims, Ultimata Online, Happify, and many startups She’s well known for her 2000 book, Community Building on the Web, a design handbook for digital communities. In 2007, she developed a design framework for applying game design principles to Web and mobile services – and she’s now doing the same for coop gaming. Amy Jo holds a B.A. in Experimental Psych, and a Ph.D in behavioral neuroscience. She’s an adjunct professor of Game Design at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where she co-developed the game design curriculum.
